Andrew Roughead

DOB: 14/06/1986

21-year-old Andrew Roughead from Newcastle is regarded as one of the top British co-drivers competing today. Coming from a background of rallying it wasn't long until Andrew started competing himself at the tender age of just 14-years-old, competing in road rallies where he honed the skills that would see him achieve notable success in special stage rallying.

Andrew has co-driven on events all over the world, including both British and New Zealand National Championships, as well as rounds of the World Rally Championship. In 2008 Andrew was selected as a member of the MSA British Rally Academy, the official governing body of motorsport in the UK's initiative to train the countries most talented co-drivers and drivers. Training is issued from world champions past and present, and teaches the young stars the skills that will help them reach the top level of the sport, the World Rally Championship.

In a career that has charted a fast paced transition from clubman navigational rallies, to competing in world class international events with a reputation to match, Andrew is committed to achieving his dream of being World Rally Champion.
