Stevie and the team have been awarded the 2008 Motorsport News Media Award for their efforts in the VK Fiesta Sporting Trophy Championship. The accolade is given to the team who created the most media attention throughout the season. Fiesta Sporting Trophy championship coordinator Richard Milliner says "The award was awarded to Stevie because of his website and press releases that he kept up to date throughout the season."
While Stevie says winning the award is a fantastic achievement. "I've always tried to focus on creating quality media coverage as much as possible, so to be recognised with this award is great." Stevie continues, "Companies generally become involved in rallying for marketing purposes, I hope this award will help to secure sponsors for the coming season, and ultimately show my professional approach to the sport".
