Scottish rally ace Stevie Brown and automotive tools specialist motoGF have officially announced their partnership for the 2011 season. The high performance tool providers, who already work with several top motorsport teams throughout the world, will support Stevie and co-driver Andrew Roughead as they tackle the MSA Scottish Rally Championship in a Subaru Impreza.
Stevie, the inaugural winner of the Colin McRae Tribute award says he is excited to be working with motoGF. "From MotoGP to the Dakar Rally, motoGF have worked at the top levels in so many different disciplines of motorsport, and not only boast an exciting heritage, but a huge amount of technical knowhow and quality tools to back it up. In a championship where we're chasing every second, we need equipment that we can rely on, and so it's reassuring to know the team have the very best professional tools to work with."
The MSA Scottish Rally Championship incorporates 8 rounds, with the series curtain raiser, The Snowman Rally, taking place last month in Inverness, where Stevie impressed onlookers and fellow competitors alike, going on to finish tenth in his four-wheel-driver debut. The reminder of the championship will see crews travel the length and breadth of the country, with Aberdeen, Kelso and Perth all playing host to the national rally series.
