Stevie and Local Charity Set for Silver Screen

November 2010

Driven Movie

Aberdeen based charity Cash for Kids has today announced exciting plans to host a premier screening of a feature film with Scottish rally driver Stevie Brown. The feature follows Brown and co-driver Andrew Roughead as they tackled the Granite City Rally, round 3 of the Hankook Scottish Rally Championship.

The premier event taking place in the city centre's Cineworld Union Square on November 23rd, will showcase the diverse range of activities the charity is engaged with. From the exciting backdrop of the rally stages, to the heart warming stories of how the charity has improved the quality of life of its beneficiaries.

"Cash for Kids support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the Grampian area. It's thanks to their tireless work that these children will have a better quality of life" explains Stevie.

The Five Mile Garage backed driver continues, "We received a tremendous amount of support on the Granite City Rally from the organisers, competitors and fans alike. Hankook Tyres, Global Web and so many others have been fantastic, and have certainly played a pivotal role in driving the project forward."

As the Oil Capital of Europe prepares to host the red carpet event, the underlying objective is to continue to raise awareness and money for one of Grampians most worthy charities, Cash for Kids will remain the star of the show.
