March 2010

mcraevision

Stevie Brown, the inaugural winner of the Colin McRae tribute award 'If in doubt...flat out' will line up along side fellow award winners David Bogie and David Wilson, to compete in the Yorkhill Children's Foundation Grand Prix.

The Scottish rally hotshots will form the Colin McRae Vision team in a bid to raise money for the Yorkhill Children's Foundation. The charity based within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area supports and enhances the care given to sick children from all over Scotland.

Thanks to the generosity of people throughout Scotland, the Foundation has helped provide a diverse but vital range of resources. These include new and innovative equipment for many wards and departments, improvements to the Intensive Care Unit, scanners, a family crèche, specially trained children's entertainers, paediatric research and training and MediCinema ? the first cinema in a UK children's hospital. All of these help to put a smile back on children's faces.

The grand prix will take place at ScotKart Cambuslang on April 21st, while the fourth and final driver in the Colin McRae Vision Team is yet to be announced. "Who knows, it may even be a world champion" joked Stevie when asked of the identity of his final team member.
